Last night, Post Malone performed Saturday Night Live (5/14), and was teased to be joined by Robin Pecknold of fleet of foxes for the debut of a new song, "Love/Hate letter to alcohol", which he and Robin wrote together.
Robin was part of a choir that stood behind postie, who was surrounded by two women banging Tyco drums, and these harmonies certainly sounded a bit like Fleet Foxes.
The song is one of the most wonderfully atmospheric, with no noticeable chorus, just a job Malone performs emotionally. See below.
Post Malone also performed his new single" locked up " with Rudy rich, and you can watch it below as well. Both songs are expected to be included on his new album Twelve carats toothache, which will be released on June 3.
Post Malone has repeatedly sung the praise of Fleet Foxes, and in 2019, his tour photographer Adam degros of postie posted a video singing along to the Fleet Foxes song.
Robin also said that Post Malone was almost included in the fleet of foxes 2020 album shore, and in 2021 it was reported that postie, Robin and Kanye West were in the studio together.
When Post Malone announced his new album, he mocked the collaboration with Robin bicknold.
