A statement on Fox Sports by Nick Wright sparked outrage among Phoenix Suns fans by teaming up with his team, Luka Doncic, and the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA semifinals of the Western Conference.

Wright, who has repeatedly stated that the Mavericks would win the series against the Suns, confirmed his position in his first appearance on FS1 on Wednesday morning, calling the Suns a "completely unpleasant company".

Wright said he wasn't worried about the Mavericks ' chances despite losing 3-2 in a best-of-seven series.
